Mother’s Day is more than flowers, cards, and celebrations.
It’s a reminder of the quiet strength, sacrifice, prayers, and unconditional love that mothers carry every single day.
Some mothers carried us in their womb.
Some carried us in prayer.
Some carried us through hard seasons when we didn’t even realize what they were facing behind the scenes.
Some carried us in prayer.
Some carried us through hard seasons when we didn’t even realize what they were facing behind the scenes.
A mother’s love often looks like early mornings, late nights, silent tears, constant encouragement, and unwavering faith.
And when you truly think about it… that kind of love reflects the heart of God.
The Bible says in Isaiah 66:13 NIV
“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”
That scripture reminds us that God intentionally compares His comfort to the love of a mother. Why? Because nurturing love changes people. It heals. It strengthens. It protects. It reminds us that we are not alone.
Today at GO Church, we celebrate every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, mentor, and woman who has poured love into others.
We also recognize that Mother’s Day can be emotional for many people.
Some are grieving.
Some are praying to become mothers.
Some miss their mothers deeply.
Some are healing from complicated relationships.
Some are praying to become mothers.
Some miss their mothers deeply.
Some are healing from complicated relationships.
No matter where you are emotionally today, know this:
God sees you.
God loves you.
And God is near to you.
God loves you.
And God is near to you.
Take a moment today to honor the women who helped shape your life. Send the text. Make the call. Give the hug. Speak the gratitude while you still can.
And to every mother reading this:
Thank you for the sacrifices nobody saw.
Thank you for the prayers nobody heard.
Thank you for the love that held families together.
Thank you for continuing to show up even when it was hard.
Thank you for the prayers nobody heard.
Thank you for the love that held families together.
Thank you for continuing to show up even when it was hard.
You are appreciated.
You are valued.
And your impact matters more than words can express.
You are valued.
And your impact matters more than words can express.
Happy Mother’s Day from GO Church 💐
